Description
Award winning figurative sculptor Antoinette O’Brien is coming to town and we’re hosting her for a two day workshop.
Antoinette is an established ceramicist, with her artistic expression extending beyond traditional mediums that include concrete, ice, frozen milk, beer and immersive intervention-style installations. She is deeply committed to strengthening the connection between people and their environment by celebrating them as she experiences them. Arresting faces of figurative works gaze out with a lifelike intensity, revealing a consideration of painterly techniques with a signature style and palate. Antoinette is represented in Sydney by first draft.
